Not the greatest picture... Don't judge but this was my look today for school very light and simple.
Usually I do a little more but not today since I was on clinical rotation.
But... if you desire to try out this neutral look heres some ways how to and I will be listing the products for you too!
So before applying any makeup products I wash my face, use a toner, and moisturize my face. After letting it sit for a few minutes I prime my eyes with Lorac's Behind the Scenes
I prime my lids and under my eyes ... Weird I know but I like it better for concealer. After that I take a fluffy brush and put soft brown in my creases (left middle purple circle ) after I applied the soft brown I went in with texture on a flat shader brush (orangey/ red in top left corner) and put it only on the lid. I LOVE LOVE LOVE these colors. And to add a minimal but nice pop I went in with swiss chocolate (middle green circle) on a smaller blending brush and put it in the outer lids and in the corner creases. To get rid of the harsh lines I went back in with the big fluffy brush and kept going over the creases to blend it all out...
I am getting into gel eye liner but, liquid eye liner will always be my favorite. I love how dark it is and it makes your eyes pop! My favorite is Stila's liquid eye liner. IT LASTS FOREVER!!! Then I use Tarte's mascara... Mascara isn't a big deal to me I have used all kinds and they all work pretty similar to me and there are so many options at drug stores you're bound to find one you like for a good price. And lastly I use Urban Decay's 24/7 eye liner on my water line. I like it pretty dark! it helps my eyes stand out more.
After I do my eyes I go into my foundation. Because I have oily skin I use NYX Shine Killer. It helps gives my face a matte finish. To apply my foundation I use a cheap boulder sponge which I only use when I want to keep my foundation super light. I wet it and go in with the foundation. Since I have no life and get no sun I am in between colors so I mix MAC's studio fluid and L'Oreal Lumi's foundation and put a thin layer over my face. The point is to not look cakey so keep it thin and even. Sometimes i go in with Makeup Forever's HD translucent powder to help set it. After I have applied my foundation I use a large powder brush mine is StudioGear and use Melba by MAC and put this on the apples of my cheeks very light again because we are keeping it natural.
I have dark circles so I use Garniers roller concealer which I love love love! It's sheer but gets the job done! I use it in a v shaped under my eyes and blend it really well so I won't look like a ghost. But it's amazing and I think everyone should give it a try!
Because I am super oily I HAVE to finish it with a powder. If you're oily too do yourself a favor and get MAC's skinfinish mineralized powder. UGHHHHHH .... ONE OF THE BEST PRODUCTS MAC'S EVER CREATED HANDS DOWN. And it gives you a beautiful but light finish...
Last but not least I put on NYX butter gloss in Eclair! GOD THIS STUFF IS TO DIE FOR!
I get so many compliments when I wear it and it looks good on every skin tone.
BOOM! You're done!
Your look is complete.
I hope you like!
Let me know if you try it out!
Sorry my picture isn't very clear. But it's enough to get the point across!
